The scholarships offered by the State Government of Madhya Pradesh (MP) is known are known as MP Scholarships. The MP scholarship List include various government initiatives. MP Scholarship – Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for different MP Scholarship List schemes vary depending on the level of education of applicants. In some of the scholarship, student category and family income are the key criteria whereas for some schemes merit and income criteria are the key factors. Below are the eligibility criteria for key MP scholarship list schemes:

·         This scholarship is open for the wards of people who are regarded as the unorganized sector worker by the Labour Department of Madhya Pradesh.

·         The students must have taken admission to an undergraduate, postgraduate, polytechnic, diploma or ITI program.

·         For Engineering aspirants, the applicants must have qualified JEE Mains examination with a rank range of 1- 1,50,000.

·         For Medical aspirants, the applicant must have enrolled for MBBS/Dental course to a government/private medical college through NEET.

·         For Law aspirants, the applicant Must have taken admission in an NLU through CLAT or taken admission in Law program of Delhi University.

·         The scholarship is also applicable for students who have secured admission at government colleges in any undergraduate or integrated postgraduate program or dual degree program.

2 Post- Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC students ·         The applicant must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.

·         The students belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) who are studying at post-secondary level can apply for the scholarship.

·         The annual income of the family should not exceed Rs 3,00,000 (for 100% scholarship).

3 Post- Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC students ·         The applicant must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.

·         The students belonging to SC category who are studying at post-secondary level can apply for the scholarship.

4 Post- Matric Scholarship Scheme for ST students ·         The applicant must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.

·         The students belonging to ST category who are studying at post-secondary level can apply for the scholarship.

·         The annual income of the family should be less than INR 5,00,000 (for 100% scholarship).

·         The annual income of the family should be between INR 5,00,000 and INR 6,00,000 (for 50% scholarship).

5 Mukhya Mantri MedhaviVidhyarthi Yojana (MMVY) ·         The applicant must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.

·         Applicants must have passed class 12 with 70% or above marks (from Secondary Education Board of Madhya Pradesh) or 85% or above marks (from CBSE/ICSE board).

·         Annual family income should not be more than INR 6 Lakh.

·         The students should be enrolled in an undergraduate level of course/ ITI/Diploma programs at a recognized institution or university in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

·         For Engineering aspirants, the applicants must have qualified JEE Mains examination with a rank range of 1- 1,50,000.

6 Awas SahaytaYojna for SC students ·         The applicant must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh and is studying in the institution by staying on rent.

·         The students belonging to SC category who are studying at post-secondary level can apply for the scholarship.

7  Awas Sahayta Yojna for ST students ·         The applicant must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh and is studying in the institution by staying on rent.

·         The students belonging to ST category who are studying at post-secondary level can apply for the scholarship.

8 GaonKiBetiYojna ·      Applicant must be a resident of a village in Madhya Pradesh.

·      The applicant must be a girl student securing 60% or more marks in class 12th examination.

·      Applicant must have avillage daughter certificate.

9 Pratibh Kiran Scholarship Yojna ·      Applicant must be a resident of anyurban area in Madhya Pradesh.

·      The applicant must be a girl student securing 60% or more marks in class 12th examination.

·         Applicant must have aPratibha Kiran certificate.

·         Belong to a BPL (Below Poverty Line) family.

10 Vikramaditya Scholarship Yojna ·      The applicant must be a General category student.

·      The applicant must have scored more than 60 percent marks in the 12th board examination.

·      The annual income of the parents should not exceed Rs. 120000/- (for higher education) or Rs. 54000/- (for graduation).

11 Divyang Scholarship Scheme ·      The applicant must be a resident of Madhya.

·      The applicant must study regularly in a recognized university / college outside the state.

·      If any student is getting the benefit of tuition fee / subsistence allowance, transportation allowance under any other scheme then the benefit of this scheme will not be available.
E.g. for SC / ST, OBC, etc., they are getting facilities like exemption / exemption from tuition fees etc., then they will be able to get the benefit of the scheme of any department as per their wish.

·      If regular student / student is unsuccessful in any semester or year of the course being studied, then tuition fee, subsistence allowance and transport allowance will not be eligible for re-studying for the same semester year. But after the failure, he / she passes the examination again and he / she studies as a regular student in the next semester / semester year, then such student will be paid tuition fee / subsistence allowance / transport allowance in the current teaching session will be eligible.

12 Model Higher Secondary Schools and Girls Education Complex Scholarship Scheme, Madhya Pradesh ·         The students who have completed their class 5th, 8th, or 10th examination can apply.

·         The percentage of marks scored by them in the final examination should be 60% and above.

8 Gaon Ki Beti Yojna ·         The selected student will get INR 500 per month for a duration of 10 months. Up to 5,000 students get benefit under this scheme every year.
9 Pratibh Kiran Scholarship Yojna ·         The selected students will get multiple benefits. Up to 5,000 students are provided aid every year.
10 Vikramaditya Scholarship Yojna ·         The applicant will get annual financial assistance up to a maximum of Rs 2500/-.
11 Divyang Scholarship Scheme ·         Assistance will be provided according to the rules of the government.
12 Model Higher Secondary Schools and Girls Education Complex Scholarship Scheme, Madhya Pradesh ·         Free Accommodation.

·         INR 350 for school uniform.

·         Textbooks, reference books and stationery material.

·         Fixed scholarship of INR 525 per month for girls and INR 500 per month for boys.

Q1. What is the last date for submitting applications online?

Ans:   For such dates please look at the “Announcement” box in the home page.

Q2.Whether I have to fill up the online application in one sitting?

Ans:   No. You can register by entering your basic details. The system would generate a Applicant-id & password for you. Please note down the generated Applicant-Id & Password. Later you can fill up the online application in as many sittings as you wish, until you are satisfied that you have entered all desirable fields correctly. The software provides facility to save your application. Once you “Lock” your application, you cannot be able to modify further.

Q3. Can I edit the information already saved and up to what time?

Ans:   You can edit information filled by you, till you “ Lock and forward the online application” to the institute.
Q4. What details I have to fill up in Enrollment details of the Application form?

Ans: (i)   In the Enrolment Number column enter your Roll No. in the Course/Branch you are enrolled to.

(ii)   In the Enrolment Date column enter the Date of Admission in the First year of your enrolled Course/Branch.

(iii)   In the Admission Date for Which Year you are applying for Scholarship column enter the Date of Admission/Re-admission in the Current year of your enrolled Course/Branch. (only in case of Students of First year this date will be same as Enrolment date)

Q5. How can I forward the Application to the Institute?

Ans:   After completion of entry and final edit(if any), click on “Edit-Lock-Print” option, then on “Lock” to forward the application to the Institute.

Q6. Should I apply again for renewal of Scholarship (Registered Applicants)?

Ans:  From this Academic year renewal of Scholarship will be done by Institute. You just have to inform Institute about your “Adhar Card Number”, “Caste certificate issuing authority” to be entered in application details. Any change in Mobile number, Address for Correspondence, Bank Account details has to be communicated to the Institute.

Q7. How can I apply for Scholarship, if I haven’t availed it in the first year of the course?

Ans:  Online fresh application submission is possible only for 1st year students. Take out a printout of the Scholarship Application form, after downloading from “Download” option of Home page. Fill it up and submit it to Institute with all the requisite documents. Institute is to be requested to register and submit scholarship application on your behalf. You should keep record of the “Applicant Id” and “Password” from the Institute, so that you can be able to modify details and track the status of the application.

Q8. What happens, if I detect mistakes after forwarding the applications to the institutes?

Ans:  You should separately inform the mistakes detected by you to the Scholarship Nodal Officer of your Institute. The software provides facility at the level of the institute to correct information provided by the applicant.

Q9. How can I edit the entries, which are not editable at Institute level ?

Ans:  If you have to edit certain entries like Institute Name, Course & Branch, annual Income etc. , which are not editable at Institute level, you should request the Scholarship Nodal Officer of your Institute to “temporarily Reject” your application, mentioning the mistakes detected by you to. The Application will then be made available at Applicant level, by the software. You can then log-in using provided User-id & password and edit the required details. After editing lock the application again so that it will be forwarded to the Institute.

Q10. What should I do, if I do not find my institute name in the drop-down menu?

Ans:  You should immediately approach the institute to contact with the District Welfare Officer (DWO) of the District where the institute is located. If your institute is an eligible institution, the DWO would enter it into the database and then you can apply.

Q11. What if I forget my Applicant ID/ Password?

Ans:  you can recover your Applicant ID/ Password by clicking on “Registered students: Recover your password” from the Registered Student Log-in box. You have to fill up details like First Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and e-mail Id, as you have entered in the application while generating the initial password. Application will regenerate the Password and SMS would be sent to your contact Mobile Number.

Q12. Can I take print-out of my application at any stage?

Ans:  Yes. Printout of application can be taken at any stage. The finally locked application will have the “Barcode”, which is to be submitted at the Institute.

Q13. Whether I have to scan the certificates and upload in the system before forwarding the online application to the institute?

Ans:  Yes. The system has the facility of uploading the scanned copy of the Certificates, like Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, High School Certificate and Handicap Certificate (if any).

Q14. What is to be done after submitting the online application?

Ans:  After locking and forwarding the application online to the institute, you should take a print out of the application (this would come with a barcode), sign it and submit it at the Institute with requisite documents.

Q15. What all documents I have to submit with the print out of the application?

Ans:  You have to submit Original Caste Certificate, Original Income Certificate, Copy of High School Certificate, Copy of first page of Bank Passbook (showing IFSC Code of the Bank & Bank Account Number) and Handicap Certificate (if any) along with the print out of the Application. Institute would verify the original certificates & return back to the students.

Q16. How to check the status of my MP Post Matric Scholarship application?

Ans:   You can check the status of your application anytime. After logging in, click on “ Edit-Lock-Print Application” . Then select “Track option.

 

Q17. What should I do, if, by mistake, I select and forward my MP Post Matric scholarship application to a wrong institute ?

Ans:  You can approach DWO of your district to request the Institute to “Temporarily Reject” your application. On Temporary rejection, the application will be made available to you for editing purpose. You can make correct selection of  Institute. Then select the Course and Branch. Lock the application, which will forward the application to your Institute.

Q18. What should I do, if, by mistake, I select wrong Category and apply for wrong Scheme ?

Ans:   You can make fresh registration, by entering the correct category and apply for scholarship of that Scheme. Institute is to be informed about the error, so that there will be Permanent rejection of your wrong application.

 

Q19. How can I apply for MP scholarship, if  I am a student of Institute, located outside MP?

Ans:   Download the Application form from “Download” option of the Scholarship Portal. Fill it up and submit the filled up application at the Institute, with all the documents mentioned in the application form. Institute has to be informed to send the application, duly forwarded by the Institute, to District Welfare Officer(DWO) of the home District of the Student.
